Day 4 – Tropic Like It’s Hot

19 Jul

Nothing happened on the Marta today. It’s sad, but I assumed it would happen now and then. But I am not to be defeated! I will still blog. So I wanted to share with you all non-Marta riders a very fun marketing campaign Tropicana orange juice has in Five Points, the Grand Central Station of the ATL Marta. Comparing to two is like David to Goliath, but we try.

The ads talk about how Tropicana is the “good” part of Atlanta mornings. Definitely makes me laugh and want some OJ.

For my non-Southern friends, literally EVERY street in Atlanta is called Peachtree. This has happened to me. More than once. Atlanta really plays up the “Georgia Peach” and “Georgia On My Mind” stuff.
Apparently there’s a lot of pollen here. Maybe that explains I haven’t gone ONE DAY of work without sneezing. Must be a new world record.
There’s literally festivals every single weekend. Haven’t done a Midtown one yet, but I’m looking forward to this year’s “Impossible to Get Anywhere” festival.

Sorry there weren’t any good stories, but hope you liked the pictures!

Omg pollen is such a bitch.

    And ATL street names.

And I live in baby Birmingham but if 280 traffic is any indication, then yes ATL traffic does too.

Ps. It is my goal to comment on every post because I love them 🙂
